Parish Information - Parish Footpaths

The Parish Council has recently acquired the lease of the former landfill site behind the HWRC so it can be used as a public open space.  The County Council remain responsible for the maintenance and vermin control.

It's now called the Scop Hill Nature Reserve and footpaths and a bridleway have been cut through the grass that covers hundreds of thousands of tonnes of rubbish dumped from the 1950's onwards.

And now thanks to the generosity of Norfolk County Council, South Norfolk Council and May Gurney plc one of the Sculptures from the 2008 Sculpture Trail has been erected on the site at the north-west end to provide a focal point for a walk or ramble.  Recycled-plastic benches have been installed so walkers can enjoy the fine view across to the church.
