The Parish Council Agenda and Minute Books from 24th August 1987 have now been scanned into three Acrobat Documents and optically-character-recognised [OCR] so enable content to be searched for.

Some of the old minutes are faint and the character recognition technology has been unable to define the words correctly

a) Clerk's expenses or £41.01. ~rr P. Yallop proposed and Mr L. Smith seconded to
pay this. All present agreed
) Zurich Insurance for £130.00. ~rs P Waters proposed and r.r P. Annis seconded to
pay this. All present agreed
c) Byways &Bridleways subscription. Kr P. Yallop proposed and rr D. Skedge seconded
that this should not be renewed at present. There were five yeas and one abstention
(Mr K. ~arfitt) for this proposal

But it should be possible to search for a key word on a page and then to read the scanned text easily.

The file sizes are quite large at about 30Mb each, so they'll take a long time to download.
