This all started in 1992. The first part of the dream was the opening of of some of the village's secret gardens to the public. A resounding success. The next stage was opening the village in all it's mysteries, its gardens, its businesses and farms, its curios and its fancies. Again the theme attracted a large number of people. The next chapter has transformed the acorn in to a massive oak tree - The Bergh Apton Sculpture Trail otherwise entitled ... something rich and strange. The following message formed part of the foreword - "All these events have only been possible as so many people co-operate, working really hard to make their dream become a reality. Many too, in Bergh Apton have had their lives disturbed, inconvenienced and interupted by the event - they deserve thanks and support for their patience and forebearance. Artists
