The Christopher Tenwinter Trust is a small parish charity arising from the will of Mr Christopher Tenwinter dated 22nd June 1599, where the income from a parcel of land owned by him was left “for the use and behoof of the town of Bu rgh-Apton”.

This Charity continues today with a moderate annual income from investments and rent of land owned by the Trust.

The Trustees meet annually in November to order to make donations for the benefit of individuals and associations in BerghApton.

For the year to 31st December 2008 the Trustees donated £801 for the benefit of those that live in the community and parish of BerghApton.
